Walking / Cycling
Because of its central location in Barrhaven, many will prefer to choose a healthy lifestyle approach to getting to BUC on foot or by bike. The main access to Steepleview Crossing is from Jockvale Road. However, those living north and east of the church have access to the site via Dolan Crescent off of Sherway Drive or the pedestrian underpass to/from the south side of the CNR tracks.
Bus
Using OCTranspo,
Routes
170 and
173 will take you to a bus stop adjacent to the church on Jockvale Road.
Car
- Ottawa or points west, follow the Queensway (Hwy 417) and exit south onto Veteran's Memorial Highway (Hwy 416). Travel South then take exit 12 Fallowfield Road. Turn left (East) at the traffic lights for approximately one kilometer. Turn left at the lights as Fallowfield does a sharp left at these lights. Proceed for another kilometer. Turn right (South) at the lights onto Cederview Rd. Turn left onto Jockvale Rd. and proceed south east for approximately 1.6 km.
- Longfields, Davidson Heights and points east, take Woodroffe Avenue to Strandherd Road, and follow Strandherd west, crossing Greenback and turning right at the first street, Jockvale Road.
- Hearts Desire, Manotick and points south, take Hwy 16 north to Jockvale Road, following Jockvale west to Greenbank Road. Turn right (north) on Greenbank and proceed one block to Strandherd Road, turning left (west) at the traffic lights. Take the first right, Jockvale Road, and proceed northwest to Steepleview Crossing.
